Business Development Manager (food packaging)

A well-respected and growing company in thin gauge thermoforming is looking for a Business Development Manager.  This is a net add to the team; they are looking for a hunter with strong and current relationships in the food packaging world and who has a solid base of experience in custom thin gauge products.

The primary focus will be on national accounts and/or large regional and major accounts.  A particular region of the country is not the driver – it is all about your business connections, proven history of new business development, and your fit within the strong culture of the organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; must have more than 5 years’ experience in food packaging business development
  • Must have solid base of experience in custom packaging products; thin-gauge thermoformed packaging experience is highly desired
  • Sales approach needs to be solutions-based and client-focused
Compensation $125-150K plus commissions
