CNC/Tooling Engineer
A critical CNC/Tooling Engineer for a heavy gauge thermoforming company is open. The small, privately held company is growing and in need of a strong technical person that can make things happen. Working directly for the hands-on president and owner, the role is a combination of several things – exactly what you would expect in a small company. Primarily, it is about CNC experience: 5-axis, 3-axis, robot, and end-of-arm tooling; all programming (MasterCAM) will also flow through this new Engineer. Additionally, you will be key in all tooling efforts in combination with part design and will even support thermoforming processing as needed.
Located in the Harrisonburg, VA region, this is an opportunity to be challenged and take on as much as you can handle. The president is really looking for that jack-of-all-trades person that knows plastics: part design (DFM), understands choosing the right material for the right application, being comfortable to learn and even open up a manual for a new piece of equipment, and more.
If you are looking for a challenge and an opportunity to make an impact and grow with a small company, check this one out!
