A well-respected company and leader in the food packaging world is looking for an experienced Production/Manufacturing Manager for a site in the Meridian MS region. The new Manufacturing Leader will be guiding the thermoforming team and reports into the Plant Manager. The entire organization is implementing LSS and therefore experience in continuous improvement is a high want.

Leadership style and approach must be collaborative with a strong ability to solve problems by working with and through your very experienced team. Another critical aspect of the role is someone that can manage change effectively, that is quickly able to engage with your team, and be able to work across all levels of the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree and more than 5 years of hands-on thermoforming manufacturing experience preferred; Associates’ degree with more than 10 years’ experience is also acceptable
• Any manufacturing career path works but must have at least 5 years in manufacturing operations leadership
• Solid experience base in high speed, high volume manufacturing, thermoforming or packaging highly preferred; other plastics manufacturing (injection molding, blow molding) is acceptable
• Knowledge of and experience in implementing Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools is highly preferred
