A Manufacturing Leader for a thin gauge thermoforming company in the Newport News region is open. The privately held company is in need of a strong leader that brings both the technical side of the business as well as strong leadership. Reporting into the Plant Manager, the scope is for this leader to assume responsibility for both the extrusion and thermoforming teams.

This is a highly collaborative organizing, valuing its team members, with a very strong culture of mutual respect. The team is going through some change right now and therefore there is a need to be focused on the floor.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; and more than 5 years of experience preferred

• Technical experience in thin film extrusion and inline thermoforming experience is a very high want
• Proven history of team leadership in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills with a highly collaborative leadership style
