Friday Fun: Our Christmas Card to You!
In 1843, British civil servants Sir Henry Cole and John Horsley were the first people to send Christmas card greetings “as a means to encourage more people to use the new British postal system” [from nationaltoday.com].
Today, we’re thankful for the ability to create a Christmas card – graphics, pictures, words, and all – and “send” it to our friends and family via a simple link to this very page!
