Presidents Day: February 20, 2023
Presidents Day, established in 1885, was originally intended to remember George Washington’s birthday (Feb 22, 1732). It is now observed on the third Monday in February and honors all American presidents.
Join us as we remember the wisdom of our first leader: George Washington.
“It is better to be alone than in bad company.“
“Human happiness and moral duty are inseparably connected.”
βI hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.β
βExperience teaches us that it is much easier to prevent an enemy from posting themselves than it is to dislodge them after they have got possession.β
βThe harder the conflict, the greater the triumph.βΒ
βReal men despise battle, but will never run from it.β
“It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible.“
β99% of failures come from people who make excuses.β
