National Proofreading Day
Celebrated every year on March 8, National Proofreading Day is a day to promote error-free writing. We all make mistakes – and thanks to grammar & spelling checks, those common mistakes are becoming fewer and farther between. Even so, it’s important to always proofread your work and then proofread it again!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER!! A piece that is filled with spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors is hard to read, which undermines the credibility and authority you have worked to achieve. No matter how small or seemingly insignificant the occasion, our words are a representation of ourselves – so, make the time to take the time to read over your work!
So… before you click SEND or PUBLISH, take a second to read over everything with fresh eyes. Better yet, get a trusted friend to read over your work. Hopefully, that friend will have a good eye for error-finding!✏️😉
📸 We’re grateful for our photographer & designer daughter, who is a true ‘dog whisperer’! We couldn’t do these Friday Fun posts without you!😊
