- Operations Leader with extensive experience in thin gauge thermoforming and a proven history of driving operational improvements, leading change, and delivering results.
- He is a “get it done” type of leader. Part of that comes from his years working in large organizations in key technical and operations roles, part of it comes from his more recent work as an Operations Consultant, and mostly it’s just a function of how he is wired.
- He’s had the opportunity to lead across a broad range of operations, engineering, Lean, supply chain, product development, and continuous improvement. He understands what it takes to improve the operation, but also how to step back and look at the bigger picture and develop and execute a strategy.
- Key strengths include:
- Thin gauge thermoforming and manufacturing operations, with extensive experience in complex, multi-site environments.
- Operational transformation and continuous improvement, including Lean, OEE, capacity improvement, process optimization, and reorganization.
- Broad technical and operational leadership across engineering, supply chain, product development, EHS, and manufacturing.
- Strategic planning and execution, with experience developing operational strategies and building the leadership structure needed to support them.
- Team leadership and development, including mentoring, succession planning, and building stronger operational leadership teams
- Why Now? He’s been very successful in his recent consulting work, but he is effectively on the road 100% of the time and is looking to make an adjustment. He’d like to find an opportunity where he can put his experience to work on a longer-term basis, ideally with an organization in the Chicagoland region that needs a strong change agent.
- He is flexible when it comes to scope and title. Having had multi-site accountability and responsibility for large teams, his focus is really more about the overall opportunity and where he can make an impact. Director, Senior Director, and Vice President opportunities could all make sense depending on the organization’s needs.
