Manufacturing Day: October 2nd

On the first Friday in October of every year, manufacturers across the US open their doors to give students, educators, families, and their communities a closer look at what really happens behind the scenes.
And there’s a lot to see!
From state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technology to the people who make it all happen, Manufacturing Day is a chance to showcase the innovation, opportunity, and career possibilities that exist across today’s manufacturing industry.
Manufacturing Day is a starting point for October’s month-long celebration of these open-door events, sharing state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and piquing the interest of educators, students, and parents.
So, in honor of Manufacturing Day, we’re kicking off October with a little MFG Day inspiration. 🎬
With manufacturing expected to generate 4 million jobs that will need to be filled by 2030, introducing the next generation to these opportunities has never been more important.
