Design Engineer/Project Manager
Mar 10, 2025
- Design Engineer/Project Manager: Very versatile thermoforming professional, bringing experience from tool and product design, shifting over into project engineering and leadership (capital implementations), back into new product design and implementation leadership (project focused & bringing new products to life), and then back into maintenance and engineering, driving efficiencies.
- He brings thin gauge forming, extrusion, and even paper forming experience across a variety of materials and substrates. Though he has not had direct people accountability, he’s led indirectly for many years, either as a Project Leader or via dotted line to multiple plants in his current role. Currently, he’s accountable for 5 plants, with dotted-lined for maintenance & engineering and helping to drive efficiencies.
- Why now? He was brought in as an NPD Manager but a reorganization effort moved him into more front-line leadership, with accountability for maintenance, engineering, and even production support for multiple sites… and he would prefer to not be in that kind of role going forward. Located in the Midwest, he would consider making a move for the right role and overall opportunity.
- He is being patient and seeking the right fit: a new challenge, intriguing products, collaborative environment, great team culture to work with, and not always in crisis mode.
