OPERATIONS & ENGINEERING EXECUTIVE

  • Talents: Vice President of Operations & Engineering. Ultimately, he is a “manufacturing guy”, bringing extensive operations leadership experience at the team, plant, and multi-site levels… and similarly in the technical leadership role heading up all engineering, automation, tooling, maintenance, project oversight, and more! Gifted leader in LSS, supported SAP go-live implementations, developed and managed capital budgets ($50M annually)… the list goes on!
  • Results: Most recently, as VP of Engineering, he developed and implemented new automated manufacturing processes that drove over $3M in annual savings. He’s delivered double-digit improvements in safety, increased organization-wide productivity, reduced energy consumption, reduced headcount through automated inline thermoforming systems. Again, the list of successes are long!
  • Experiences: Large, multi-national organization with more than 10 manufacturing sites and leading technical and operations teams across the platform; thin gauge thermoforming across a variety of equipment and polymers. The experience there is very strong in thin-gauge forming and products.
  • Culture & Leadership Style: His approach is “tough on process, easier on people”. He explained that it is all about making sure specific action plans are in place so that proper reactions and adapting to the chaos are manageable. He’s highly structured and process-based.
  • Accountabilities: Full technical, company-wide accountabilities as already described; assuming operations accountability for multiple sites with nearly 1500 people across the plants.
  • Next Role: He is seeking a VP of Operations, VP of Engineering, or VP of Operations & Engineering opportunity. Though the size of the company isn’t a driver, he has obviously had a large scope and does prefer being close to the team. He is even somewhat flexible on location and is readily able to travel as needed.
  • Please reach out, and let’s discuss next steps if this kind of strong technical operations leader is needed for you and your organization! Let’s start a conversation!
