National Account Manager (food packaging)
Oct 8, 2024
- Strong Sales Leader who brings more than 20 years of experience in custom thin gauge thermoformed packaging, with the bulk of his time in food.
- He’s led large regions of the country including Midwest, Southwest, and Western regions and he also supports national accounts – including a recent large project with Walmart (that actually is going to hit the shelves next year).
- Hunter and farmer: highly successful in both approaches. Bringing an extensive base of industry contacts in the food packaging industry and a scope of about $25M, he is a solutions provider and gets things done!
- His Why? Things were going great – including just receiving a very good “exceeds expectations” merit increase… only to be laid off 30 days later, due to a change in overall approach (brokers versus direct sales). He’s been impacted in that way for his last 3 roles so stability is of major importance to him. He wants to work for a long time and have a lasting impact, and not have to go through this again. Also of note, because he was laid off, they basically turned him loose of his non-compete, so that’s not in the way.
- Titles that align are Regional Account Manager (with a focus from the Mississippi westward – Midwest, Southwest, and West) or National Account Manager, given several major projects he’s led with large clients across the US.
- If you are in need of a strong hunter with proven ability to land new clients… and a farmer who increases and expands an existing client base, with extensive custom thermoforming and food packaging experience… and located in the center of the country (Texas), please reach out!
