Senior Account Manager

  • 30+ year Senior Sales Manager with a tremendous background and history in thin gauge packaging, covering the product side of the business and… upstream experience in extrusion (films) and even thermoforming equipment.
  • He brings a lot of experience selling to packers and processors. He also has a ton of contacts across the thermoforming manufacturing world, given his extensive time in selling directly into it, specifically selling thin films for finished products PLUS thermoforming equipment that manufactures the actual product. So, he has a broad view of the industry in total!
  • His Why? He worked for a European company that was penetrating the US market, and it ended up poorly. Standards were different and caused a major uphill struggle. Significant layoffs happened as a result, and he was recently caught up in it.
  • He is looking for a great – and stable – company to leverage his experience and contacts in the food packaging industry. Stability is important; he’s had a couple of roles where there’s been impacts and layoffs, and he wants that long-term fit to make long-term impacts, mentoring, and coaching younger salespeople. That is really what he’s looking for.
  • He is based in the Midwest but has supported clients nationwide and is therefore flexible relative to the region of the country he supports. Titles that align are National Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, and similar.
